You’ve seen tons of those basketball and football trick shot videos on the internet. Well, here is a NEW version of trick shots!
It’s called Vinyl Trick Shots.… yes, Vinyl as in old school records trick shots!
Apparently it’s a marketing campaign for a new music-sharing app called MusicBunk, but it’s still great. The best shot is when a guy throws a record from a second-story window, bounces it off a satellite dish, then lands it on the turntable.
Watch that awesome video here:
If you haven’t had enough yet, check out THIS video:
Anytime you go to a baseball game, you bring your baseball glove so that you may have that slight chance of catching a foul ball.
Well, former NBA All-Star Dan Majerle didn’t bring his glove. He brought his plate.
Dan, who used to play for the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat and who is currently an assistant coach with the Suns, was at the Diamondbacks game in Arizona chillin’ in the VIP area. A Diamondbacks player hit a ground rule double into left-center field, and Dan caught it.… bare-handed, with a plate of food in his other hand.… he didn’t even have to move.
I love going to professional sporting events for things like this.
Last year, the Washington Wizards had a “Dunk Like G-Man” contest (G-Man is their mascot).… and one kid BLEWAWAY the competition, including G-Man himself.
Watch the video:
Like it wasn’t rigged, right?
Still, that’s pretty flippin’ awesome.
You remember SlamBall? It’s pretty much a professional trampoline basketball league.
Here is one of their dunk contests:
Now, let’s enjoy the Bloopers of the 2011–2012 season:
If only Tom Hanks were here now to say that line. Oh wait, he is:
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case on Wednesday night at The Ballpark in Arlington, Texas, where the Texas Rangers were playing the New York Yankees.
After a foul ball, one of the players tossed it into the stands for a young fan. But it was promptly stolen away by a couple of Rangers fans.… who proceeded to rub it in the poor kid’s face!
Watch the video to see it unfold:
Now get this. These two fans, named Sean Leonard and Shannon Moore, are claiming that they had NOIDEA that the kid wanted the baseball. Which seems pretty ridiculous, since the kid is like 2 feet away bawling his eyes out. Sean and Shannon are also mad at braodcaster Michael Kay, the guy who called them out on it.
Well, what did they expect? Of course there is gonna be some backlash for stealing it from the kid!
This happened in an NBA game last night between San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings. Manu Ginobili of the Spurs and Tyreke Evans of the Kings crashed face first into each other going close to full speed.
Watch the video here:
Somehow, Tyreke stayed in the game, but Manu had to leave the game and didn’t come back.
First of all, ANY wet willy is just flat out messed up. Second of all, this is pro sports. Not 3rd grade recess.
Delonte West of the Dallas Mavericks was trying to play tough on Gordon Hayward of the Utah Jazz last night. Delonte tried getting in Gordon’s face and ended up pushing him. Gordon walks away to avoid any further extracurricular activity. And that’s when things get weird.
At this point, Delonte walks up to Gordon and gives him a WETWILLY in his right ear. No joke.
Watch the video here:
Not only is that pretty low, it’s pretty flat out lame. Really? A Wet Willy? That’s all you could come up with Delonte?
At least they didn’t end up fighting.
We saw Mike Tyson bite off Evander Holyfield’s ear, so I guess it is possible for a wet willy to happen.
But still, that’s nasty.
In the end though, Gordon had the last laugh as the Jazz beat the Mavericks 123–121 in triple overtime.
Someone had enough time on their hands to not only make a corny video about their dog, but also to teach their dog how to jump rope. And not normal jump rope, but Double Dutch!
Watch that corny video of the cool dog right here:
With Easter being yesterday, there was much consumption of chocolate, sugar, and PEEPS around the world.
But no one ate any of that faster than Kobayashi did yesterday.
Yeah, Kobayashi, that competitive food eating guy from Japan, who holds lots of World Records for speed eating things like Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Rice Balls, Cow Brains, Pizza, Lobster, Tacos, Twinkies, and Hot Wings. Now, he can add one more “food” to that list: Peeps.
Kobayashi set the World Record by eating 25 peeps in 30 seconds. That’s pretty close to one peep per second.
Here’s the video:
What is my record for eating peeps? I ate one in 25 years of human life.
