A big backlash came after Disney revamped Merida from ‘Brave’. They were going for a glammed up look on their website, but the people want Merida as Merida. Especially because, if you’ve seen the move, the character doesn’t want a glam life. Disney has since pulled the glammed image and went back to the original.
